Prayerstones

In the long ago times women would make clay pots and would go down to the creek beds and gather shiny stones with which they would go round and round the pots in order to make the pots smooth before firing them in a pot firing pit...these stones have been collected from just those ancient pits in Saskatchewan..it is in the way of my people a fact that stone takes in good energy and women also in the long ago times prayed as they went about there work..and in those times when men went off to hunt   it is also true that sometimes they did not return..so men would sneak a stone when no one was looking and place it in a leather pouch close to there heart knowing that the power of the womens prayers through the stone would guide them back to there village always...
